The PHB says normally you need "a clear path to the target" to target someone with a spell (see "Spellcasting", page 204). Snare About 10 minutes after heading down the trail, characters on the path encounter a hidden snare. A decent number of rituals to choose from, but prepared rituals only. fireball, lightning bolt, etc. It's enlightening and very helpful if you wanna be a useful Wizard instead of a glass-cannon.
